Green Wedding Inspiration

Today is the first day of Fall and we are reveling in some green inspiration as the lush green natural background slowly is replaced with beautiful Autumn colors.

Enjoy this lovely board inspired by white, green and wood brown. How cool are those lovely straws in that cocktail, they are made to look like tiny birch branches!

Real Wedding - Grey, White & Green

This wedding from the Taylor'd Events Group and photographed by Amelia Soper Photography embraced its modern venue, Novelty Hill-Januik Winery, with a fresh and clean palette of grey, white and green.  One of our favorite elements of this end of summer wedding was the iconic summer-time sparkler get-away send off.

From the planner, Jennifer Taylor of Taylor'd Events Group ~
"Sarah & Devin’s wedding at Novelty Hill-Januik was filled with personal details and lots of fun.  We worked with the couple for almost a year working on finding the perfect wedding professionals, and décor after meeting them through the wedding show Weddings in Woodinville.

The clean palette Sarah choose was a perfect combination for Novelty Hill.  Personal details of the couple were apart of the entire decor scheme.  The tables were numbered by wine bottles with picture labels of the bride and groom. The bride and groom had wood dolls in their likeness created for their cake topper, or in this case, in lieu of cake their mini desserts from Midori Bakery and macaroons from Lady Yum.  Adam Tiegs, of Adam’s DJ Service, kept the crowd going and helped them with a rousing shoe game."

The shoe game is a reception game that is always a true crowd pleaser.  The bride and groom sit with their backs towards one another and then exchange one shoe with each other. Then a series of questions are asked such as "Who is likely to kill the spider?" or "Who always replaces the toilet paper roll?". The couple each raises one of the shoes to represent themselves or their partner to answer, often with hilarious results.
